The recall is due to a potential fire hazard. The heaters can overheat, posing a risk of fire. Govee has received reports of the heaters overheating, including one report of a heater catching fire.

The following Govee space heater models are subject to the recall:
- Govee Smart Space Heater: Model number HSS01-US
- Govee WiFi Smart Space Heater: Model number HSS01W-US

What Should I Do If I Have a Recalled Heater?
If you own one of the recalled space heaters, immediately stop using it and unplug it. Do not attempt to repair the heater.
