Here in Chatham, we have a rich history of military service, and this year, Chatham Voice wants to ensure we remember and honor those who have served our country.

This year, Chatham's Remembrance Day events will be particularly poignant. The Chatham cenotaph will be adorned with a sea of red poppies, each representing a life lost, a sacrifice made. The Chatham Legion Branch 12 will be hosting its annual Remembrance Day ceremony, a solemn occasion filled with the sounds of bagpipes, the somber recitation of the Last Post, and the poignant laying of wreaths.
